A FACTOTUM is a general servant or a person having many diverse activities or responsibilities. The word derives from the Latin command (imperative construction) fac totum (“do/make everything”).

Factotum was developed to make the process of ordering imprinted clothing an easier process. Our main responsibility is to the customer, and being available to that customer is our highest priority. Our office is “open” at times when others are not. You’ll even get a live voice at 8:00am on a Sunday morning…

The driving force behind Factotum is Crispin Jones. Cris comes equipped with a bachelors degree in Apparel Design from Virginia Tech and over 15 years of experience in the screen printing industry. His degree helps when determining what what type of application works on what type of garment, keeping in mind the inherent nature of the garment (hand etc).

In addition to screen printing, Cris also has extensive experience in the sign making business and designs and fabricates many original works of art for his home and other clients businesses. Hence the name Factotum! It all started when Cris was “thrown” into the screen printing when he started a job making garment patterns after college. The owner of the business had a screen printing department and Cris was immediately interested in this new (to him) way of creating art.

After demonstrating that he was plenty capable of the task, Cris was designated the head printer for the company. Then, after working for a number of different screen printing operations around Northern Vermont, Cris decided he had what it took to go out on his own, and Factotum was born.

Factotum’s production facility is located in Waterbury, Vermont, where Cris looks forward to meeting all of your screen printing needs.
